Audition Information
Shrunken Heads Production Company holds acting, vocal, and dance auditions for each production. Depending on the show, auditioners may be asked to perform an excerpt of a monologue, sing a few measures of a song, submit a dance video, or attend an in-person dance audition.

Who Can Audition: All community members! This includes UCSB students, SBCC students, and any college-aged community members!

Come to our Audition workshop to get all the important information about the Shrunken Heads audition process! There will even be an opportunity to have a mock audition and receive feedback from our skilled music and vocal directors.
Vocal auditions take place from 3 pm until 10 pm! Prepare a musical theatre song that is 60-90 seconds long and showcases your vocal range and acting abilities. Sign up here.
Dance auditions take place in two slots: 11 am until 2 pm or 3 pm until 6 pm! Learn choreography from the show's choreographer and showcase your ability to dance in character.
Callbacks take place from 10 am until 1 pm. If you are chosen to be called back, you will be asked to prepare scenes and songs for certain character(s). Remember, if you do or don't get a callback, this is not a guarantee you will be cast in the show.
