Meet the Board
Lena Wessel
President
Lena Wessel (she/her) is a 4th year CCS Biochemistry Major. As President, she coordinates the actions of the Board as a whole, and acts as the organization’s spokesperson. Any general questions about the club or the productions are directed toward her, as she oversees each facet of the club.
Sydney Clark
Artistic Director
Sydney Clark (she/her) is a 3rd year Chemistry Major. As Artistic Director, she leads the creative team of each of the season's shows. She acts as the liaison between the Board and the creative team, and aligns their respective visions to be cohesive and to ensure they represent SHPC's values.
John Sylvester
Treasurer
John Sylvester (he/him) is a 3rd year Computer Science Major. As Treasurer, he manages and oversees the organization’s finances, and keeps track of all of the club's expenses and profits. He also organizes the GoFundMe of each production.
Lucia Pederson
Secretary
Lucia Pederson (she/they) is a 2nd year Communications and Film double Major. As Secretary, she supports the club’s organizational and scheduling needs. During the show season, they manage conflicts and attendance, and oversee the club’s many records, forms, and documents.
Cameron Hastings
Music Director
Cameron Hastings (any pronouns) is a 4th year CCS Music Composition Major. As Music Director, they select orchestra members, communicate with audio teams, and ensure the cast’s understanding of the music. They often conduct the orchestra during the shows' performances.
Hannah Wobrock
Director of Properties & Costumes
Hannah Wobrock (she/her) is a 3rd year Biochemistry and Chemistry and CCS Music Composition double Major. As Director of Properties and Costumes, she oversees the design, creation, and storage of all physical items seen on the SHPC stage, working alongside the Officers of Properties and Costumes.
Nicky Gulizia
Director of Publicity & Advertising
Nicky Gulizia (he/him) is a 4th year Molecular and Cellular Biology Major. As Director of Publicity and Advertising, he spearheads advertising efforts, which include flyering, tabling,
and outreach to the Isla Vista and Santa Barbara communities. Additionally, he updates the Shrunken Heads website.
Bridget Helfelfinger
Director of Social Media &
Graphic Design
Bridget Hefelfinger (she/her) is a 3rd year Molecular and Cellular Biology Major. As Director of Social Media and Graphic Design, she manages all aspects of SHPC's social media outreach and designs promotional visuals for the organization.
Abbie Bartels
Director of Spaces & Liaison
Abbie Bartels (she/her) is a 2nd year Psychology and Brain Sciences Major. As Director of Spaces and Liaison, she works to book rehearsal, meeting, and performance spaces. She also helps with ticketing matters, acting as a liaison between the club and the ticketing services.
Annabella Amalfitano
Officer of Content Creation
Annabella Amalfitano (she/her) is a 2nd year Statistics and Data Science Major. As Officer of Content Creation, she works under the Director of Social Media and Graphic Design. They create content that aligns with the club's nature to promote the club and its current activities.
Ayve Algazi
Officer of Costumes
Ayve Algazi (they/them) is a 2nd year Voice Major. As Officer of Costumes, they work with the Director of Properties and Costumes to create and curate costumes for productions.
Michelle Walker
Officer of Finance
Michelle Walker (she/her) is a 2nd year Economics and Accounting Major. As Officer of Finance, she supports the Treasurer with managing SHPC's finances. These duties can range from fundraising and budgeting, to concession purchases for productions.
Benjamin Maman
Officer of Music
Benjamin Maman (he/him) is a 3rd year CCS Music Composition and Economics double Major. As Officer of Music, he collaborates with the Music Director closely. He helps host auditions for the live orchestra, teaches the cast their music, and works to overall improve the quality of our sound.
Yumalai Duran
Officer of Props
Officer of Wellbeing and Grievance
Yumalai Duran (she/her) is a 2nd year Sociology Major. As Officer of Props, she works with the Director of Props & Costumes to create physical items that contribute to the realness of our shows. She also acts as Officer of Wellbeing and Grievance, who handles any concerns from the cast or crew during each production.
Harley Firouz
Officer of Technical Theatre
Harley Firouz (she/her) is a 5th year Music Studies Major and Media Arts and Design Minor. As Officer of Technical Theatre, she is responsible for assembling the technical team for each production. She is also in charge of safety of the cast and crew regarding the technical aspects of productions.
Jeremy Scheirer

Jeremy Scheirer (he/him) is a 2nd year Chemistry Major. As Assistant Officer of Technical Theatre, he assists the Officer of Technical Theatre in coordinating technical elements and staffing the tech crew for shows. If you're interested in joining crew, Jeremy is a great person to contact.
Zoriyah Brooks
Social Chair
Zoriyah Brooks (she/her) is a 3rd year Biology Major. As Social Chair, she is in charge of the events that form our Shrunken Heads community, including those that bring in new members. Some of these events include the fall mixer and cast parties.
