About the Roles
DIRECTOR
As you already may know, as director you will be responsible for a plethora of tasks; however, your primary role is to oversee actors. You will interpret the script and directing performances.
CHOREOGRAPHER
This show requires strong storytelling through dance, with dynamic numbers that feature a mix of contemporary, jazz, and social/partner dance styles. If you have experience in teaching in these areas, you'd be a great fit.

As Director you'll work alongside board members Sydney Clark (Artistic Director) and Cameron Hastings (Music Director) to make the show's overall performance creatively shine!

Responsibilities (included not limited to):
Responsible for creation and execution of the creative vision of the show when working with actors. Collaborate with the directing/production ream on show-wide creative visions. Be responsible for rehearsal process and leading the cast. Finally, build relationships between actors in a supportive, welcoming, and educational environment!
As Choreographer, you'll be involved in the physical storytelling of the show, alongside teaching your Dance Captain in rehearsals so they can support the actors knowledge or the choreography.

Responsibilities (included not limited to):
Develop and execute choreography that supports the story, music, and characters. Teach and rehearse choreography with cast of varying dance experience levels. Lead dance rehearsals in a way that is encouraging, accessible, and fun while pushing performers to grow. Create a safe, inclusive, and energetic rehearsal environment that inspires confidence and teamwork. ​
