What does Tech do?
Our tech crew builds, designs, and runs all the elements that bring a show to life. From moving set pieces to running lights and sound, to managing props and costumes, tech ensures that the performance looks seamless and professional.

Positions we’re looking for:

• Stage Crew: Help move sets, manage scene transitions, and keep things running smoothly backstage.

• Lighting Crew: Operate lighting equipment, run cues during shows, and help set the mood for each scene.

• Sound Crew: Work with microphones, music tracks, and sound effects to keep the show crisp and clear.

• Props Crew: Organize and handle props so actors always have what they need on stage.

• Costume Crew: Assist with fittings, quick changes, and keeping costumes performance-ready.

• Stage Management Team: Coordinate rehearsals and performances, cue actors and crew, and keep the show running like clockwork.

We’ll train you in everything you need to know. Joining tech is a great way to learn new skills, make friends, and be part of our SHPC family—even if you’ve never done theater before.
